As we prepare for the future, more and more athletes want to attend college, gain a scholarship, compete in athletics, and prepare for a career. But only 2% of prospective student-athletes are highly recruited to colleges and universities. That means that 98% of prospective student-athletes need guidance and assistance in being acknowledged, in gaining financial assistance, and in finding a college that meets their academic, athletic, environmental, personal and financial needs. We have a unique opportunity to gain critical information, the process and also timelines in order to get a jump on the college selection process.
The Collegiate Athlete Educational Program (CAEP) is here to provide education, information, and the tools enabling parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and potential collegiate student-athletes (sons or daughters) the opportunity to make the best decision in the selection of a college.
We will be hosting several Seminars and Workshops here at the Advantage Sports Center. (check the Calendar Tab) Contact person is Becky Hughes.
*Please note: Student-athlete and parent/legal guardian MUST attend the session together. If this is not possible, please arrange to attend at another time. Each session is designed for student-athletes & parents and to work together. Participants will NOT be permitted to tape or video record any of the sessions.
